Decent portable shower

I bought the BeachBox Portable Shower and the neoprene tank cover. Shipping took about a week to my place in Texas, which was standard. The shower itself is really handy for post-hike rinse-offs. Yeah I ordered a V2 to San Diego last month, took just under a week. I think they ship out of the US, so it's not like waiting for something from overseas.

Hey, does the BeachBox V2 come with any kind of insulation for the water tank? Or do you have to buy that separately if you want to keep water warm longer?

Nah, the standard V2 isn't insulated. You gotta grab the neoprene cover separately if you want to keep your water warm for a bit.

It doesn't come with it, but they do sell a cover. I just use hot water from a kettle in mine anyway, stays warm enough for a quick rinse.

Anyone compared the BeachBox to a RinseKit? Trying to decide which one to get for camping trips. Is the BeachBox worth the extra cost?

I had a RinseKit before getting a BeachBox. The BeachBox feels a bit more rugged, and I like that you can pump it up manually anywhere instead of needing a hose spigot every time.

Can you put hot water in the BeachBox? I want to use it for a warm rinse after cold water surfing, but don't want to mess it up.

Totally fine to put hot water in it, just not boiling. I always use warm water for my post-surf rinse, works great.

Yep, it handles hot water. Just don't go throwing super boiling water in there, but warm to hot tap water is perfectly safe. It's designed for it.
